Peace As An Act of Receptivity & Mindfulness
A Conversation with Sister Chan Khong
The Woman beside Thich Nhat Hanh
On a day that is supposed to
be a day we are to be reminded of how the USA was attacked
on September 11, 2001, and how thousands of people perished
in front of our very eyes, we wish to turn our attention
to that which transmutes hate, war, discord and suffering.
We wish to pay attention to the good in the world; the very
fabric of what manifests more good in the world. Together,
we will bathe in the practical application and compositional
framework of that which instills peace for everyone. We will
also pay tribute and honor a woman who has stood by and served
a noble man of great leadership, power, mission, receptivity,
kindness, generosity, who carries the purest most ancient
wisdom teachings known on earth. The powerhouse happens to
be a humble Master at delivering the full transmission and
practical tools for manifesting peace. He is the honorable
Thich Nhat Hanh.
The great and mighty
woman is his Co-Leader and the director of Plum Village in
France. She is Sister Chang Kong, a beloved teacher and transmitter
of Thich Naht Hans’s brand of teachings. She is gentle,
and packs soft power as she ushers in the practical transmission
of peace, community, love, and kindness. Thich Nhat Hanh
was nominated by Martin Luther King for the Nobel Peace Prize.
He and Dr. Martin Luther King were very close. Sister Chan
Khong has served Thich Nhat Hanh for the last 45 years. Bare
witness with us as we call upon her in France to have her
bring in the atmosphere of Plum Village as she ushers in
timeless wisdom, tools and teachings of and for peace. Peace
is crowning as a human and global imperative for the continuance
of this civilization. Join us for an occasion as we unfold
the next step for humankind with this remarkable woman.
